Lime Bottlebrush Crescent
‘“Lime Bottlebrush Crescent”’
is a print from an original hand painted watercolour illustration from the “Vintage Bloom” collection
✨ This very modest and quite common plant has an amazing scent and even more amazing leaves - but you will notice it only when you look closely!
✨Look closely against the light / sun at the bottle brush leaves… and you will see… a celestial sky - honestly - a “micro sky”… did you know that bottle brush had those micro wholes in its leaf?
✨The Lime Bottlebrush is endemic to Tasmania (as well as other south - eastern parts of Australia) so I hope you will notice it around with amazing tranformation phases.
✨Like the moon - the plant also has its unfolding phases. (Have you noticed the way I captured the bloom phases in the illustration?) From little, closed green balls to thousands of yellow spikes with tiny, tiny balls on its end.
.
PAPER: SUSTAINABLE + smooth 250 gsm paper (with a warm, natural, white shade)
all prints are hand signed by Jessika
.
